I SASSI CHIANTI Classico DOCG

Chianti Classico I SASSI derives from very stony soils attributable to the Formazione di Sillano. Compared to Alberese, it has a lower percentage of limestone, while the marly character is greater, as is the ratio of argillites, which give the soils a scaly stoniness similar to Galestro. The wines that come from these soils are recognizable for their fleshy tannic structure and tasty firmness of the fruit. SENSORY PROFILE Ruby colour. Strong aroma of small red fruits with floral hints. Round, sapid flavour, with a pleasant and persistent aftertaste of wild berries.
